Flextool marks 75 years of supplying quality construction equipment to Australia, evolving from a small Collingwood workshop founded by Bob Miller in 1951 into a nationally recognised brand. To celebrate the milestone, Flextool is launching a national roadshow in its custom-branded vehicle, “Bob the Van,” honouring its founder and symbolising connection and visibility.

Flextool has expanded its surface preparation range with the launch of two new compact solutions - the Flextool PortaGrind FCG-125 and the Flextool PortaVac FDC-1A1P. Designed for smaller surface preparation tasks, edge grinding, and tight access applications, these products deliver reliable performance without sacrificing mobility.

These all electric Flextool TuffTruks are built to endure the toughest working environments while providing 100% emission free operation. The range extension now includes the super-sized, 800 kg capacity EB800, and the nimble 300 kg EB300 perfectly complementing the existing 500 kg EB500 model. The Flextool Planetary Concrete Grinder FCG-450 delivers exceptional grinding and polishing capability. This powerful grinder is packed with features to achieve optimal efficiency and operator comfort. The Flextool Single Head Concrete Grinder FCG-250 has a detachable grinding head for easier transportation, and single-phase operation provides enhanced versatility. 

Flextool relaunches the BladeTec Diamond Blades and Cup Wheels range with higher diamond concentrations for faster cutting, larger segments for longer life, high-grade steel cores for distortion prevention, cooling and debris clearing features.

Flextool signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Multiquip (USA) in May 2021, to provide Australian customers with easy access to the entire Multiquip and MQ Whiteman range of products.

MQ Whiteman are leaders in concrete finishing and offer superior equipment to both the residential and commercial construction industries. Designed and manufactured in the USA, the range includes Walk-Behind Power Trowels, Ride-On Power Trowels, Truss Screeds and Chemical Spraying Systems. The range is only available through authorised dealers in Australia. All MQ Whiteman products are covered by Flextool’s industry leading after sales service initiative, the Flextool Promise.

Flextool launches more power packed and superior performance Mikasa Forward and Reversible Plate Compactors to the Australian market. The MVC-F60H, MVC-F80H and MVH-158DY are built to last and come with a 3-year Mikasa product warranty, plus all Mikasa products are covered by the Flextool Promise.

Adding another product to the Flextool ‘PORTA’ range, the Flextool PortaPac FCP-48 has been designed for ultimate manoeuvrability, making it the ideal forward plate compactor for many different trades. Incorporating a narrow base plate, the Flextool PortaPac FCP-48 can complete soil compaction works in tight and restricted spaces where larger plate compactors cannot fit.

The Flextool PortaTrowel’s lightweight design improves operator safety and allows for earlier commencement of concrete finishing when compared to heavier walk-behind machines. Matched with multi-use combination blades and a variable-length pole, this unit achieves optimum control from up to 6 metres away and allows the operator to complete finishing works without the need to step on wet concrete. 

Concrete placing is a back-breaking industry, Flextool got your back with the Flextool PortaVibe Backpack FVE-BP. The ergonomic contouring aluminium frame design and 4-point fully adjustable padded harness evenly distribute weight to both shoulders and hips to improve user comfort whilst reducing back strain and fatigue.

Exclusive to Flextool, Smith Performance Sprayers are leader in liquid applicator technologies with numerous category leading introductions. Flextool started the partnership by launching the Smith Performance Sprayers Industrial Concrete Sprayer S103E.

Flextool signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Mikasa (Japan) 1997, to provide Australian customers with easy access to the power packed Mikasa Tamping Rammers, Forward and Reversible Plate Compactors.
Mikasa soil compactors are recognised as the industry standard for compacting granular soils and asphalt, these premium soil compactors are built to last and all products are covered by a 3 year product warranty, as well as the  Flextool Promise.

The product lines have grown from just flexible shafts and concrete vibrators into a wide range of concrete equipment and accessories. The company began to provide more concrete solutions with products for concrete vibrating, trowelling, screeding, grinding, surfacing, drilling and cutting for the industry.

Robert Miller, a repetition engineer established a factory in Collingwood, Melbourne. Bob won a tender to manufacture industrial parts for the Australian built Canberra Jet Bomber and automotive parts.
